Manos House: This is a drug and alcohol rehab center for teenage boys located in Columbia, Pa. They are approved for up to 50 boys who live in a lockdown dorm setting and help people addicted to alcohol with great online services when you click here. They also help with addiction to drugs by having their treatment done at an affordable price. Alcohol use disorder is a brain condition with potentially long-term adverse effects on you and those around you. Knowing the risks of taking meloxicam and alcohol and getting help as soon as possible could be the key to regaining your life. We have been able to serve here for several years, bringing in meals, Bibles, and hope on a monthly visit. We have been encouraged to mentor, pray for and follow up with the young men during their sentencing as well as follow up after. During COVID our presence is much more limited but we have kept in contact with staff and some of the young men.
Letter of Hope Ministries – Providing Emergency Aid in Haiti & Dominican Republic during Hurricane Florence (Hurricane Matthew in DR) Brought food supplies and conducted Bible Studies while Hurricanes Florence and Michael hit Haiti and the DR. Coordinated with missionaries to provide emergency aid in remote areas through our denominational missions structure focused in these areas in order to bring comfort to the communities suffering damage from the storms themselves in addition to the aftermath such as needing food and supplies delivered in their communities or help removing the trash from strewing around the neighborhoods from the winds/rains. We continue to coordinate with the communities in these two countries due to these natural disasters and encourage your prayers for them as we continue to work and provide support during this challenging time globally.
